GRAD SCHOOL PROJECTS

During my time at the School of Information at the University of Michigan, I was able to work on a bunch of pretty interesting projects, many of which led to some good friendships as well as to the start of my career path.

COMMUNITY INFORMATION

When I started SI in '05, a group of us took the Community Information Seminar taught by Paul Resnick. We had also heard about a student group that had once existed and needed some form of resuscitation. So, a few of us in the seminar got together and started to host events, bring in speakers, and eventually worked with faculty to create the Community Informatics specialization.
